Family and Friends, I would like to introduce you to...... Jackson Bryan Roof. "Jax" joined our family on Thursday afternoon at 2:39. He weighed in at 9 pounds 14 ounces and 21 and 1/4 inches long. He has red hair.
Katie did great! We traveled to the hospital at 4:30am on Thursday morning. They admitted her immediately. She rested for several hours and after receiving the epidural, she took a few naps. At 2pm the doctors informed us it was time to push. After a short 39 minutes Jackson moved from womb to world. It was beautiful. God has done amazing things.
Katie and Jackson are doing wonderful. Both are at home and resting well.
We appreciate all of the well wishes and prayers. We also want to thank all of you who came by, called, and sent flowers and gifts.
Lastly, I'd like to say....... welcome to our family Jackson, we love you!

Congrats! I have been wondering about the arrival and when. I cannot believe you have the little guy. I love the name too!!! Good choice for the new addition. Hope to see you all soon. Tears came to my eyes when I logged on today. I know you are both in sleep deprivation mode, but enjoying the experience too. Love you both and hope to talk soon.
